Efforts to recall to members of the Incline Village General Improvement District have come up short after petition gathers seemed to have not gotten enough signatures. Both Sara Schmitz and Matthew Dent were the targets of the recall effort. Both were accused of creating a “destructive work environment,” with Schmitz drawing ire for her “No” vote on a 25-million dollar donation from the Duffield Foundation that required a unanimous vote from the board.
