Truckee Meadow Fire and Rescue crews are on scene of a wildfire on Slide Mountain above Davis Creek Park on US Forest Service land. It has burned 5 to 10 acres of heavy brush and timber fuels. Truckee Meadows fire says crews spent the night building containment lines, and are making good progress. The fire is not threatening any structures.
