Sparks Shooting Turns Deadly

(Sparks, NV) — One has died from a shooting that happened in Sparks Wednesday. Police there say around 4:20pm, they received a 9-1-1 call from someone who said his co-worker had been shot inside an apartment off E Street and 18th Street. The victim had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. Another, identified as Yun Kim, was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Sparks Police say this is being treated as homicide. During their investigation, they found two workers rennovating an apartment, when Kim showed up and confronted them. Kim then left and returned with a gun, and opened fire. Kim is also being treated at a hospital. He’ll be charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon, along with attempted murder.
