(Reno, NV) — Reno Police say there has been an officer-involved shooting at a Downtown motel that was evacuated and shut down after inspectors found human waste and drugs on the property. The subject who was shot was taken to the hospital in unknown condition. RPD has now blocked off roads starting from State Street off of Lake.

The Lakemill Lodge was inspected on Wednesday, as part of an ongoing investigation into code violations. Inspectors say there was human waste in the stairwells and common areas. They also found used hypodermic syringes. The syringes were tested and came back positive for fentanyl, methamphetamine and heroin.
