(Reno, NV) — Reno is staying in-house in its pick for city manager. Interim City Manager Jackie Bryant will be taking the job on a permanent basis. She was unanimously selected by the Reno City Council on Wednesday. The city is sticking with Bryant despite conducting a 75-thousand-dollar national search for candidates. She initially told councilmembers she was not interested in taking the permanent city manager role. Bryant took over the job during the summer, following the resignation of Doug Thornley.
