(Reno, NV) — There is some new information about a Tesla Cybertruck that was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Reno. The Cybertruck, which was in self-driving mode at the time, slammed into a pole across from Stead Elementary School on February 6th. The owner made an X post about it on February 9th, which had ten-million views as of Thursday. The post tagged Elon Musk, the AI team of Tesla and a Cybertruck engineer. The Reno Police Department says the driver, Jonathan Challinger, did not tell officers the Cybertruck was in self-driving mode at the time of the crash. Officers also did not cite Challinger at the scene of the crash.
