If your green thumb is itching to get planting, then make plans to head to the Wilbur D. May Center at Rancho San Rafael Park this Saturday for their annual plant sale. You can find plants that grow well in our high desert climate, and they’ll have over 2,500 to chose from. You’ll also learn what plants grow well in the shade, and find ones that like full sun. They have everything from succulents to herbs to greenery that attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Plus, they’ll have horticulturists and other plant experts on hand to give you growing tips. If you’re a May Arboretum Society Member, you save 10% on your purchase, and it’s all in celebration of the May Arboretum’s 30th anniversary.
