Sparks Police Department has caught an alleged “Strong arm robber,” for an attack in the 1500 block of San Pedro Street. The victim says she was followed home by the suspect who engaged her in conversation, then fought her for her purse and got away. Thanks to community tips, the suspect has been identified as 27 year old Tyler Olivero of Sparks, and he’s in Washoe County Jail. He is now facing charges including Robbery with an Elderly Enhancement and Battery Causing Substantial Bodily Harm.
