(KOH) – The Sparks Police Department is asking for your help in finding a possibly suicidal suspect who is considered armed and extremely dangerous.  SPD stopped Robert Ramsey driving a gold Saturn in on Victorian Ave in Sparks at about 1:20 this morning, under suspicion of having a fictitious registration.  Ramsey gave a fake name and refused to cooperate.  He fled the scene at high speed, pursued by the officers onto EB I-80.  The officers aborted the pursuit at Patrick out of concern for public safety.  It was later learned that Ramsey called associates and made suicidal statements.  He has felony warrants out of California on parole violation, and is armed and willing to engage officers.  Anyone with information is asked to call SPD at 353-2231 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.  A $500 reward is offered.
