The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a woman Monday morning west of Lovelock.  Shortly after 8am a man was driving an SUV eastbound, about 14 miles west of Lovelock, when he allowed the SUV to cross over the median into westbound lanes. He rolled and landed on the side of the highway. He was flown to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for treatment of serious injuries. His passenger, was thrown from the SUV and pronounced dead at the scene. Her name won’t be released until family is notified.
