Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District will honor and welcome eight new firefighters to the District, at today’s Board of Fire Commissioner’s Meeting. Truckee Meadows Chief Charles Moore says “These additional fire and rescue professionals have dedicated themselves to our serving our community and will help respond to our growing emergency call volumes throughout the Truckee Meadows.” The firefighters recently completed 12 weeks of training at the Carson City Regional Fire Academy.
