Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful is hoping you can help this weekend with a project in the Swan Lake area. It’s their second flood protection material cleanup this year, helping residents get rid of sandbags that they no longer need. The clean up is Saturday, June 30th, and everyone is meeting up at the Lemmon Valley Volunteer Fire Station 223 at 130 Nectar Street in Reno at 8:00 a.m. You’re asked to bring work gloves and shovels, if you have them, but KTMB will also have tools and gloves, if you need to borrow some.
