Man Shot by Reno Police Officer Dies From His Injuries

The man shot by Reno Police at a domestic dispute Sunday night has died. Sparks Police say Reno Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Thornridge Court around 9:45 p.m. Sunday night. When police got there, there was a confrontation between officers and a man, leading officers to shoot. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital; his name has not been released. The involved officers have been placed on administrative leave. No one else was hurt, and no information about the circumstances of the confrontation has yet been released.
