Carson City Supervisors this week approved a $1.2 million dollar settlement, with the families of four children who were sexually abused at the 2016, “Camp Carson Summer Camp.” The children were first graders. The lawsuits accused Carson City of negligence for hiring a volunteer with a history of mental problems, and failing to properly monitoring volunteers. The children were inappropriately touched on a bowling alley field trip, and it was caught on security cameras. The volunteer was 15 years old.
