Nevada Governor Provides Update on The State’s Vaccine Plan

Governor Sisolak joined the state’s Department of Health and Human Services to provide an update on Nevada’s COVID-19 vaccine plan Monday afternoon. The Governor says the state has been preparing for this for sometime.

Priority for the shots will be for first responders and those in essential businesses., But the Governor cautioned, there is no proven vaccine just yet. The Governor also urged residents to get a flu shot, and keep the pressure of hospitals and health care facilities. He says he plans to raise the capacity at conventions to 50% by January, and get the kids back in classrooms as soon and as safely as possible.
