Sparks Company Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract

Sparks-based Sierra Nevada Corporation has been awarded a 13-billion-dollar defense contract from the U.S. Air Force. Minor Charged in Sparks Shooting

A minor has been charged in connection with a shooting that left a man injured in Sparks. The suspect is accused of shooting the man in the face last Friday night, sending him to the hospital. Police now say the suspect, who knows the victim, accidentally shot him. No names have been released.MORE
