Washoe County Man Sentenced in Child Abuse Case

The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office says a man has been sentenced to life in prison for sexual assault and lewdness on a child. The Hill Fire that briefly threatened homes near Verdi is now fully contained. Power Restored in Washoe County

NV Energy has restored power to nearly 58-hundred customers in Washoe County. The power went out in northwest Reno at about 4:45 Wednesday afternoon and was fully restored about two-and-a-half hours later. The cause of the outage is not known.
